NEW FLICKR
Well flickr just changed almost everything.
Personally I’m liking the new design, it’s slick, close to what 500px have been offering for quite some time now. Apparently they want it to be more “social” with a new homepage filled with updates about our contacts instead of our own.
It still have some major drawbacks though:
- Where the hell do we follow our activity now? I...

Random Access Ramblings
Well this post has NOTHING to do with photography but I had to post it.
I’ve been listening a lot to the new Daft Punk record and well I can only say that I love it.
I was never really a big fan of the robots and apart from Discovery I haven’t loved one of their records as much as I love Random Access Memories. RAM is definitely a retro record. It’s a testament of DP to their love of the 70s and...

I’m thinking about going full analog.
I’ll dump and sell all of my digital photography tools and keep to the olympus and film since 80% of my pictures now are made with analogue anyway so I don’t see the point of keeping my nikon D90 and all of my lenses that I barely even use anymore.
It’s a pretty big move and I’m not entirely sure about it but hey, one got to...

Today, while I was out shooting, I ran out of film. I had forgotten to take a spare one with me. My phone battery was also dead and my sister point and shoot camera also died after a few shots. And all those events happened during a beautiful golden hour in a city we’ll leave tomorrow morning.
Well, shit happens.

I got my scans back from the lab today. I’m a tad surprised. For that roll of film, I was using kodak ektar 100 for something other than portraits for the first time. I can definitely say that the ektar has a very clear signature. The images are super blueish (magentish) with a lot of contrast and a soft halo overall. It’s pretty different from what I was used to until now with portra...

I’ve got a couple of NSFW pictures that I don’t know if I should post, I probably will. It’s a bit different from the kind of portraits I usually do and it’s not really my forte.
I’m also getting my scans back from the lab tomorrow so there will be new stuff to post here if I didn’t screw up most of my shots :).
My alternative blog is getting more and more...
